Bailing on Chelsea- Celeb Real Estate

Unfortunately, real estate tycoon will not soon be added to Sean Avery’s diverse resume, which includes New York Ranger, Vogue Intern and bartender.

After optimistically listing his 1,112 square foot condo, which he paid $1.46 million for back in 2007, for $1.795 million last year, Avery knocked it down to $1.59… then $1.495… before anyone bit. That individual was Jennifer Hartmann, a senior consultant for Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, who paid $1.4 million for the West Chelsea condo. Sorry Sean, losing is never fun, but $60K seems pretty paltry when compared to the likes of Nicholas Cage and Scarlett Johansson’s losses.

Getting ready to join the Chelsea exodus are Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart, who have put their 9,000 square foot loft on 7th Avenue on the market for $16 million, reportedly because they’d rather hob nob with Spielberg in Mandeville Canyon.
