Celeb Real Estate Losers 2010

While the glitz bouncing off these bejeweled stars makes it seem like they can’t possibly have a care in the world, they’re taking it on the chin in this economy too. Scarlett Johansson lost $3 million on the Outpost Estates L.A. home she bought in 2007, and might possibly lose more when she and soon-to-be-ex hubby Ryan Reynolds unload their home.

And you have to feel just a tiny bit sorry for Nicolas Cage who, due to alleged mismanagement of funds by former manager Samuel J. Levin, lost more than $10 million on an assortment of properties around the world and lost face with even more foreclosures.

Compared to these losses, John Mayer’s listing for $425,000 less than he paid seems paltry.

But before you start feeling too bad, according to Hollywood.com Nicolas Cage’s going rate is north of $20 million per movie. If only we could all get out of the hole that easily.
